This was the first game back after the latest lockdown - and what a game! After Barton couldn't field a team we fixed up a friendly with a higher age group team - Cold Ash U14s. We were 0-4 down at half time, but five second half goals completed an incredible comeback and a 5-4 win!
After half time, a great ball from Finn saw Jacob make it 1-4, Harrison smashed home his first 11-a-side goal after a corner to make it 2-4, and then Rupert made it 3-4 with a fine finish into the bottom corner. Pressure on the goal from a cross saw Cold Ash put into their own net to make it 4-4, and finally, inside the last minute, Jacob scored directly from a corner on the left that curved into the top corner - although Rupert claimed he felt the ball brush past his hair! It was harsh on Cold Ash, but an amazing comeback win for Cougars.
